Home Care, Caregiver Seeking - Hello, my name is Heather, I'm doing private care because I can't stand how the home care companies take advantage of both elderly/disabled people & the caregivers. I do love providing whatever care is needed to my clients. My clients are like family, not cash cows. So here is a little about me. I have 8 years of experience in a variety of health care settings. My experience includes 3 years in a nursing home, 2yrs in assisted living & 3 years in home health care. I have references available upon request which includes past clients & supervisors as well as personal references such as family & friends. I am a Certified Nursing Assistant & Certified Medication Assistant. I received my certifications from an accredited technical college in Brooklyn Park. I have a negative 2-step mantoux & I can provide complete vaccination records including Hepatitis B. I have experience with Hospice/Palliative care, Geriatric care, Alzheimer's/Dementia care, Degenerative Muscle diseases, as well as much more.Ideally I would like a consistent, long term client, but I am very flexible & open to most situations. Initially the hours I prefer are M-F 9am-4pm, evenings/overnights are possible and I'm open Sat/Sun, but as I said I can be pretty flexible, so please keep that in mind. A persons needs are always changing & I am able to adapt to changes. I charge half of what companies charge & you get better service.
