Home Care, Caregiver Seeking - I am presently seeking a position as a caregiver/provider for an elderly patient, I have prior work experience in this field. Duties have included but not limited to bathing, feeding as well as cooking, housework, assisting patient to and from doctor appts, making sure that their meds were taken, Also worked as a caregiver for my mother and father, my Mom was a stroke victim unable to move or eat, I fed her by tube, cleaned her colostomy bag, bathe her and sat with her she was not able to communicate verbally only by writing, I assured all her needs were met, I also cared for my father who had emphysema, cooked, cleaned, escorted him to his doctor appts, made sure his meals were prepared and that he ate properly, I also took care of my aunt who was dying from cancer, cooked, cleaned, administered meds as directed by the doctor and hospice nurse to assure she was as comfortable as possible as directed. #4069
