She had a series of mini stokes an few years ago and diagnosed with vascular and frontal lobal dementia. She is warm, kind, gentle and beautiful to boot. While still somewhat ambulatory -slow w/ some stair freezing, her motor skills have been greatly impacted including speaking. She cannot be engaged in conversation however she can and does respond with a nod & occasionally a few words. Still recognizes us and many others. Loves music, dancing,getting out for rides, a movie, church. This job is for someone who likes to cook and enjoy meals together, provide periods of stimulation, and company. Needs help in all facets of daily from getting into and out of bed, bathing, toileting. Beautiful living conditions , new luxurious condo. own bedroom & bath, attached garage for car. Every other weekend off,requires 24 hour on (overnights) - she sleeps through- . 63 hours on one week, 105 hours the next- alternating weeks. References, experienced required.
