Personal Care Aide, Private Duty for Quadriplegic

Home Care, Caregiver Seeking - My work is with people in need. The disabled, quadriplegic folks are the people that have stolen my heart. I have also worked with my elders.The last person being my own father. I was able to care for him up to his passing,he was 91. I am a very kind spirited soul that has a true regard and a genuine respect for people that look to others for help w/ personal needs. I am always happy to go beyond the call of duty for a family's loved one. I love what I do and my clients are fully a where of my sincerity. We work in shifts. If one is unable to make it in for their shift, I am always the one that will be asked to fill the void. My work details: First and above all is catering to all my clients needs. Be it helping them get dressed, feeding them, brushing their hair & teeth, help bathing them in a shower or bath if unable to get out of bed.. all personal hygiene matters will be cared for with TLC!I cook, do light house work, laundry if needed. I am a perfect companion that is able to care for many needs. I will remind and give medication when needed and take charge of their well being. It is very important to me that I maintain the best quality of life style to keep the love of life and dignity going for all of my clients. I am a wonderful listener..I am aware of the unspoken words and the body language at times speaks for its self. I have no problem giving a great shave. I am able to use a Hoyle lift to get my clients in and out of a wheelchair as well a bed transfer. I am knowledgeable with Colostomy bags and catheters.I am very teachable in all matters. At the present time I am caring for a quadriplegic man in Cranston. I have a clean BCI check. My client is affiliated with an agency out of Pawtucket called PARI. They do an extensive back ground check nation wide over there for one can never be too safe when leaving your loved ones in the hands of a non family member. I own my own car with car insurance as well a valid driving license. At the present time I do have Friday, Sat and Sunday open. Please feel free to contact me with any questions.
